After the death of Oliveira, Dante, who is a failure director with an unresolved past is summoned to take his place as artistic director of the Company and stage "Hamlet", but there‘s a problem: at his peak as an actor, Dante interpreted the Danish prince, but abandoned the play and entered a downwards spiral. At the time, he‘d been directed by Oliveira and had performed alongside Elen, his ex-girlfriend and still the company‘s diva.
Now Dante has to deal with his past and to stage the play, deal with the envy of the company‘s financial director, make a TV actor without any theater credibility play the lead role convincingly and handle Oliveira‘s ghost.
Dante and the company have common trajectories: both success and failure and desire to make Shakespeare popular. In his quest, he transforms his own life, as well as that of those who surround him.
