Daniel is a young Portuguese man who, so as not to be arrested unjustly for a crime he did not commit, clandestinely boards a ship heading to Brazil.

During the voyage, he meets the sisters Nina and Lenita, who are returning from holidays in Europe with their parents. Lenita soon falls in love with the lad. Unfortunately for her, he falls head over heels for the beautiful Nina, who cannot contain her passion.

However, before they become truly involved, she must break off her engagement to JJ, her father‘s ambitious business partner and a man capable of anything to achieve his goals. JJ thus turns to Lenita, who reveals herself to be extremely jealous of her sister. Together, these two terrible villains make plans to separate the couple. Like a Wave, set in an idyllic location, is full of romance, suspense and action.
