The Brazilian actress Suzana Vieira was one of the guests at the gala event "XIV Globos de Ouro" (The 14th Golden Globes), that took place on 17th of May, at the Coliseu de Lisboa in Portugal. The festival is annually held by the Portuguese broadcaster SIC to pay homage to the outstanding Portuguese artists of the year. The network is well-known for airing telenovelas produced by TV Globo in Brazil in its programming lineup.
 
Suzana was invited by SIC to present the first award of the night for best theatrical actress. The Brazilian took advantage of the occasion to thank everyone for their presence at the event, and for the kindness that she had received from the Portuguese since her arrival on the 12th. "I‘ve received a number of accolades during this trip and I was very touched. It‘s a great honor to be here with my Portuguese colleagues on this spectacular evening", she declared, before announcing Maria José Paschoal as the winner of the category, for her role in the play “Vieira da Silva par Elle Même”.

In addition to presenting one of the Globos de Ouro award during her stay in Portugal, Suzana Vieira also participated on a variety of SIC´s programs. She spoke about her love for her son and grandchildren and about the special affection that she has for her father, but also touched on other subjects. She also received an image of the saint Nossa Senhora de Fátima, to whom she is devoted, that she received from the Portuguese presenter Merche Romero. The actress even got the chance to visit important sites, like the Santuário de Fátima (Sanctuary of Fatima), the Capelinha das Aparições (Chapel of the Apparitions) and the Castelo de São Jorge (Castle of St George).
