Ecuavisa, the main Ecuadorian channel, is broadcasting the telenovela 'Two Faces' during prime time, which is leading the audience share with 24.2%. The broadcast of the production is part of the volume deal between the broadcaster and Globo TV International signed last year and is valid until 2011. In 2009, the broadcaster will show 6 of the 14 products from the distributor's catalogue.
 
Since the 5th May, the telenovela 'Soul Mate' is also being shown on Ecuavisa. The following titles are planned to be launched this year: 'The Favorite', 'The Prophet', the miniseries 'Maysa' and the comedy series 'The Cleaning Lady' and 'Normal People'.
 
With these negotiations, the companies are further strengthening the partnership that started almost two decades ago. Just in the last 8 years, Ecuavisa has broadcast 45 different productions distributed by Globo TV International, among them telenovelas, series, miniseries and specials, like the traditional Carnaval from Rio de Janeiro. During this period, Ecuadorian viewers were able to watch a few of the international successes produced by TV Globo in Brazil, like the telenovelas 'Shades of Sins', 'The Clone', 'Terra Nostra' and 'Anything for Love'.
 
LA Screenings
 
The 2009 launches of Globo TV International will be available at LA Screenings, between the 19th and the 22nd of May, at suite 1860 at the Hyatt Century Plaza. In addition to the traditional drama productions, the company's portfolio also includes formats, documentaries, miniseries and comedy series.
